Trade Scheduler: timed actions in Trade Dashboard

Configure one-time or recurring trading tasks, choose their targets, and check the execution time before leaving the dashboard to run them.

Set up a scheduled task

  1. Open Task Scheduler from the dashboard. Choose an action and the relevant symbol or ticket; distinguish a single-trade action from an action affecting all eligible trades.
  2. Set the date and execution time. Select weekdays for a recurring schedule, or leave recurrence off for a dated task. Check the chosen time zone and the displayed countdown.
  3. For an entry, review Lot, pending Entry, SL and TP in the scheduled row. These are the task’s values; changing the main Trade tab later is not a substitute for editing that row.
  4. Review the active list, save a reusable schedule if needed, and remove unwanted rows. Keep MetaTrader and Trade Dashboard running and connected at the due time.

Choose the action and its scope

Actions include Buy/Sell, the four normal pending types, closing or deleting a selected ticket, grouped close/delete commands, and screenshots. A command such as Close/Delete All has a wider target than Close/Delete for one ticket. Check the managed trades before enabling a broad action.

Saved schedules are reusable configurations. After loading, recheck dates, symbols, tickets, volume and protective levels; a previously saved ticket may no longer exist.

Example: a recurring chart screenshot

Choose Screenshot, set 09:00 in the selected time zone and enable Monday through Friday. Check that the next execution and countdown match your intention, then save the schedule. This demonstrates recurrence without creating a trade.

For a timed Buy Limit, also specify symbol, volume, Entry, SL and TP. Reaching the scheduled time submits the pending order; it does not mean that the order has filled.

Execution and missed tasks

This is terminal-side automation. A closed terminal, disconnected session or inactive dashboard can miss the execution window; do not assume an overdue task will be replayed. Inspect the task list and trade history after an interruption.

Scheduled entries remain subject to trading restrictions, margin and broker acceptance. A rejected attempt is not a promise of automatic retry. Closing and deletion also depend on the targeted trade still existing.

Common checks

  • Wrong time? Compare the scheduler’s selected zone, broker time and countdown, especially after a daylight-saving change.
  • No execution? Check terminal connectivity, the task’s date/weekdays, its remaining row and the dashboard’s restriction message.
  • Need to cancel a task? Remove its row before it is due. Removing a schedule does not close a trade already created by it.
